Tour 1. WAT TRIMIT + GRAND PALACE (Start 08.30 / 3.5 hrs.) 0830 hr. Meet at hotel lobby. The tour will take you to visit temple of the golden Buddha image that weighs 5,500 kg. then continue the trip to visit the Royal Grand Palace. See the dazzling Wat Pra Kaew with its revered Emerald Buddha, Golden Chedi, and Pantheon of the compounds of the Chakri Kings and the colored towers. Photography is permitted in the Royal Palace Grounds and in the compounds of the Emerald Buddha Temple but not inside the buildings. This most interesting full day tour takes you to rural floating market of Damneon Saduak, situated 110 kms. west of Bangkok. Lunch will be served at the Rose Garden restaurant. Afterwards you will attend the Thai village show, which gives you an introduction into Thai life. The show includes the colorful Buddhist ordination procession, an elegant fingernail dance, Thai boxing, Hill tribe dance, Sword-fighting, Elephants at work, Charming Folk dances and traditional Thai wedding ceremony and more. Tour price Baht 1,250. Tour 4. FLOATING MARKET, LUNCH, RIVER KWAI (Start 07.00 / 8. hrs.) 07.00 hr. Meet at hotel lobby This most interesting full day tour takes you to rural floating market of Damneon Saduak, situated 110 kms. west of Bangkok. Lunch will be served at floating restaurant nearby the famous bridge on River Kwai. The bridge was built during World War 2 by the prisoners of war. Visit the cemeteries which contain the graves of 9,000 allied prisoners who lost their lives while building the bridge “Death Railway” which the Japanese had hoped to stretch all the way to Burmese border.
